ABSTRACT
This study explored how harnessing value stream mapping through leveraging information technology integration: a game changer for performance of manufacturing firms in Kenya. The study also analyzed the moderating role of leveraging information technology integration on relationship between value stream mapping in operation processes contribute to better performance of Manufacturing Firms in Kenya. The study adopted cross sectional research design. The target population was 533 manufacturing firms in Kenya. With a sample size of 322 manufacturing firms’ Primary data was collected through use of questionnaires. 10% of the sample size was piloted to test for validity and reliability of the research instrument. Data collected was analysed using SPSS version 26. Descriptive and inferential statistics techniques were used to analyse the data. The study concluded that harnessed value stream mapping through leveraging on IT integration in operation processes positively and significantly impact on performance of manufacturing firms in Kenya.
